Walkthrough

Professor Tangrowth wants you to restore the dry, withered grass using the Water Gun move. Find the brown patches of dry grass scattered around the Withered Wasteland. Use Water Gun on each patch — it takes about 2 PP per patch. After watering all 5 patches, wait one in-game hour for the grass to grow back green. Return to Professor Tangrowth to complete the request.

Make sure you have enough PP for Water Gun before starting. You can recover PP at the Pokemon Center.

Restoring grass increases the Environment Level of your habitat, which helps attract grass-type and bug-type Pokemon. The seeds rewarded can be planted to create permanent green areas.
